Raf Simmons yesterday in Paris his first Haute Couture Collection for Dior with an impressive fashion show housed in 5 private salons where million flowers have adorned the walls. With a major fashion statement from the beginning of the collection, Dior’s haute couture collection accentuated a refine elegance and sophistication that match perfectly the classic Christian Dior style.
The chromatic theme goes mostly for pastel colours which are injected through embroidered feathers on evening dresses, also the black looks bring attention over through details and shapes, this collection reinvents the classiness and elegance that the color black always represented.
Usually there’s not so many wearable pieces on the haute couture scene, since the fashion designers try to forget about fashion and clothes by focusing on art and perfection, but Raf Simmons collection for Dior seems to combine perfectly everything together with beautiful wearable dresses and stunning luxurious materials used.
