Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 Collection l Milan Fashion Week

Dolce & Gabbana, one of the most prestigious and powerful Italian fashion houses presented yesterday the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, where the two designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana prepared for us an stunning line that capture perfectly the typically Italian joyful spirit  and combines stylish everyday looks with elegant evening wear.

Starting the collection very energic with daytime chic styles where tomatoes, aubergine, courgette, onions and hot pepper prints brighten up the classic sheath dresses or dresses cut at the waist and ruched, tops, shorts and deconstructed jackets. All clothes are made in organza or cotton, mixed with crochet in pastel colours such as light blue, peach, beige and nude.

For the evening wear section Domenico and Stefano brings out black brocade dresses and jackets, covered with shiny stones of the same colour, while the sparkling geometries of the illuminations that decorate the streets are recreated through embroideries made of multi-coloured crystals on lace dresses.

The accessories expressed the sensuality of the Italian culinary culture and tradition, there were shoulder bags, earrings, necklaces and bracelets all decorated with pasta, little tomatoes, onions and small Madonnas.
