Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 l Paris Fashion Week

For the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, the Creative Director Sarah Burton, has created one of the most spectacular and unique designs, inspired by the fascinating  undersea life, which was evident from the ruffled hemlines of the tailored skirts and the twisted lapels of blazers which looked like sea sponges, plus coral pieces which were a shade of seashell.

Elegant and sophisticated dresses came down the runway, capturing our attention and made us feel like McQueen lives with us through Sara Burton‘s latest collection, with theatrical appearances, dramatic shapes on light lace, silk or leather fabrics , small silver decorations, a color palette of ivory, black ,shell pink and violet, fitted bodices detailed with embroidery and ruffles.

At the accessories chapter there were mostly sandals all heeless and many had cutouts in the wedge part of the platform, some sort of mask that either just covered the hair or a full face and head cover with embroidered lace in the shape of bats streaked across the face, jewel harnesses and belts.
